Nail Design: Gold Digger

Hello Beautifuls!!!

Today is just a short nail design tutorial, very simple, but looks stunning.

That's my inspiration

That's the products I used

That's the result

 Steps:
  1. Apply your base cote, I used Essie All In One Base
  2. Apply black nail polish, I put one thick (too impatient for two thin ones, heehee) coat of Revlon in Blackest Black
  3. Now it's time to put on some glitter. The trick is to start from the tip of your nail going down, contrary to what you usually do. First, put a very thin coat for about one third of your nail and then pack on some more glitter at the tip. I used Aldo Nail Lacquer in Gold Digger.
  4. Apply top coat. Ah, I didn't do this step, again, too impatient, sorry, :)
  5. Fix any imperfections, meaning nail polish on your fingers, by using a q-tip soaked in nail polish remover.
  6. Enjoy!

I hope you liked it!!!

Have a good day and gold on your nails!

Nars Orgazm Blush and Diorshow Blackout Review. Or One Of Those Days...

Hello Dolls!

So today as promised, new kind of writing! In reality, this post is a review of Nars Orgasm blush and Dior Diorshow Blackout mascara. But well, it will be written from third person about beauty junky Tyana. Yes, I gave her my name and I will be basing opinions and some evens from my real life but not all the time. For entertainment purposes I will be adding actions and maybe new characters. So please understand, it is not me I am writing about, she is just a character. But opinions in review are mine. So... Don't be too judgmental towards her and I hope you enjoy!!!

And if you don't want to read the whole review, you can always scroll down for the easy overall review.

Oh, it's been one of those days. It seems that if you are late once in your day, you will be late everywhere that day. "I shouldn't have stay reading that late last night!" Tyana thought brushing her teeth. Then she rushed to dress "Simple jeans and t-shirt will do", she thought, especially that she will be putting  big down jacket on top, outside was freezing. Fortunately, she had just few errands to run, and nothing special to dress for.
Tyana glanced at the clock, she had just a couple of minutes to do her make up. She looked in the mirror and made a face " Why aren't you one of those lucky girls who have perfect skin  and everything to go out without makeup?" she asked herself grabbing foundation and a brush. "Tap, tap, tap" she sang in her head applying her foundation. "Oh, now you just look dead", she said looking at her now uniform colored face. And that's when magic came out of her drawer. Nars Orgasm blush. This product always made Tyana happy, ever since she got it. It adds such a nice natural blush to the cheeks, that any face transforms into healthy looking happy face. No big sparkles on the cheeks, like it may look in the packaging, just natural glow. The blush color matches perfectly to be mistaken for natural blush, the one pregnant women have or... after being in cold. "Which is waiting for me in just a couple of minutes", Tyana thought grimly.
Then, after she was done with her face, she had time for just one thing to do, the one she would never skip (besides putting lip balm of course). Applying mascara. She was always on the look for one that will give her everything, volume, length and drama. And it seem to her that she finally found it: Dior Diorshow Blackout mascara. This made her lashes stand out, even if she would apply dark shadows, and made them look almost like fake eyelashes. Tyana had only one problem with it,  she really had to spend some time to apply it. If she didn't want to have spidery, clumpy look ( which she definitely didn't!), she had to go slowly and carefully with it. But well, result was well worth it, especially that she saved some time ignoring eyeshadows this time.
"Now I am done!" she said to her mirror. She looked at herself with surprise. Of course her makeup  seemed to be a little underdressed compare to her usual routine, but she still looked so... Natural and nice, like a young girl. Feeling young lifted her mood and she finally was ready to face the world.

Overall

Nars Orgasm Blush

Quality: 5/5
Color: Natural
Packaging: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Opinion: Definitely my favorite blush. It is quite expensive but it will last ages (seriously, how much blush can anyone use to finish it fast?). I think this peachy pink color can suite almost any skin tone, plus tiny glitter adds natural glow.

Dior Diorshow Blackout Mascara

Staying power: 5/5
Color: Extremely black
Brush: 4/5
Formula: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Opinion: If you are looking for dramatic eyelashes, this might be it. It's very black, gives volume and length. A little warning though, it takes time to get it right, it might get clumpy if you hurry (then again, which mascara wouldn't?)

As always, I hope you enjoyed!! Please leave me comments below!

How To Stick With Resolutions!

Hello there my Beautys!!!!

We all know that New Year is all about making resolutions... and then giving up. We all may have some tips, so lets share them to help each other! There are some of mine.

Tips:
  1. Start your resolution with "Never to.." . It may sound silly, but I find it more convincing than "Do..". So instead of saying "Eat healthy" put "Never eat junk food". It sounds more dramatic, and more disastrous if you thinking about breaking your resolution.
  2.  Reward yourself. This is very important, because that's what will keep you motivated. It can be very small purchase of nail polish when you finished your project on time or hair trim in salon if you stayed away from heat tools for a whole month. But even if your are money tight you can just give yourself a big bath time after hard week of accomplishments, and I am talking bubbles, candles and magazines :)
  3. Stay realistic. This is very important when you write your resolution list. Don't put yourself in the place when you can not stick to it simply because it's physically impossible.
  4. Start small. When you have big goal in your head, it is much easier to break it in parts and start slowly. That way you will see your own progress, reward yourself in process and it will be easier to stick to it and not to give up.
  5. Level yourself. Ok, this one is funny :) If you have several resolutions and goals, you may break them down and write them in level form. And so you can not pass to the next level and get your reward before you complete current one. This way it gives you a little thrill and fun :)

I hope this was helpful!!!

I wish you all stick to your resolutions and have fun!!! Happy holidays!!!

Baby Products For Babes

Hello Babes !

Yes, today we going to talk about baby products... but for You! Just recently I noticed how much I use them in my everyday life, and I was surprised. Baby products are easy to find, effective, safe (they are made for babies after all) and pretty cheap. I just wish to share with you my little Baby World :)

Baby Shampoo (No Tears)

This is literally the only eye makeup remover I use since I started doing makeup. I did try special eye makeup removers, but they stung my eyes. But baby shampoo doesn't. It is so gentle and it removes everything. Note though, I don't use waterproof makeup, but when I do, I mostly use coconut oil to remove it. I've used baby shampoo for years and lately they came out with new pump that makes it come out like a foam, which I love.

Baby Oil

I love this product. I used to use it on my body after shower to lock up the moisture but it was a little too much hustle and mess. It spills around (or is it just me?) and leaks a little from under the bottle cup. I loved the results though, so now I want to try new version of it, the gel one. I will update on it once I do. Anyways, what I do now with it is shaving. I keep the bottle in the shower, so no more problems with spilling and leaking. And results are amazing! Not only the shaving is smooth but skin is moisturized also. And that huge bottle lasts a long time. Try it, it's way better than regular shaving cream. My favorite one is Johnson&Johnson with aloe vera.

Baby Wipes

Ok, so now I don't have to say much, baby wipes are just essential. They are wet, they can clean anything. If you get the ones for sensitive skin you can even remove your makeup with it (though I still recommend to wash it off), or to fix it ( remove mascara smudges, lipstick or anything else). Just toss it in your purse and you are covered :)

Baby Lotion

Well, it is a lotion, and I didn't find any other use for it yet. It is made for baby skin, so it won't irritate even very sensitive skin. I love the lavender scented one, it supposed to help baby to sleep, but it can also help you to relax, lavender scent is known for that. Plus, you can buy a huge bottle that comes with a pump and it is not expensive. What not to love?

So that's it! Hope you enjoyed and will try any of my suggestions!! Please tell me if you use any other products or different way, I will be eager to try!

Have a beautiful day full of baby cuteness!!

PS. I do not own any of these pictures, I am not sponsored by any company. These is my truthful opinion.

Beauty Trend: Red Lips

Hello beauties!!!

What is the biggest beauty trend of this fall? Red lips! And I just couldn't ignore it! The truth is, never before I ever tried to sport bright colors on my lips. But this autumn i thought, hey, why not? I have to admit though, first time I colored my lips red, it was so new and shocking to me that I calmed it down with some light pink lip gloss. But now? I just love it! So here some of my favorite products!

REVLON Colorstay Lipliner in RED

L'OREAL Infallible Lipstick in REFINED RUBY

And here is me with my new obsession: red lips

Little tip: don't forget to put some lip balm before, when you bringing all the attention on your lips, you don't want them to be chapped. Plus these products could be drying over time, so your lips will thank you so extra moisture.

So go ahead and have fun!

I hope you enjoyed!

P.S. Red lips is not the only red trend i am following... You will see it soon!

Selena Gomez Inspired... DIY Glitter Heel Shoes!

Hello Dolls!

Ok, I am sure that every girl who saw "Who Says" video by Selena Gomez envies her glittery shoes. At least I am. So after being exited and doing a little research, I found out that the shoes were made by Italian designer Guiseppe Zanotti and specially for Selena. I know not everyone of us has the same budget as Selena Gomez, neither am I. So here I come with Glitter Heel DYI! And since I don't have peep toe shoes like in the video, I basically recreate the original Zanotti's Cindy Pumps. (Excuse my bad pictures quality, I had bad lightening)

That's Guiseppe Zanotti's Cindy

What you need:
  • Black Leather (or fake leather like me) shoes  (from Sirens)
  • Lots of glitter (make sure they sparkle!)   (from Omer Des Serres )
  • Super Glue! (it's best if it has a brush)   (from Omer Des Serres)

Before you start, make sure to prepare your work place. You can put lots of papers like I did. There will be major glitter rainfall happening!

So here it starts! Apply your SuperGlue on little areas ( because it dries super fast). And then put a mountain of glitter on in.  I am not joking, it has to be literally a mountain, so you can press it down without your fingers getting glued also. (Believe me, learned hard way, my fingers are still sparkling:) )
Now shake down the excess of glitter and go on with the rest! Best part is that it is very easy to repair if too much sparkles fall down, simply pass glue and apply some more glitter. It is not too difficult, but may be time consuming. But the result is totally worth it!

Hope You Enjoyed!
