All of us need some fashion inspiration sometimes... So why not get it from famous people who we trust with fashion? One of them is Kim Kardashian ( at least for me). Not long ago she blogged about her new favorite trend, leather leggings.

I like this look a lot, it makes leather leggings day-wearable and even classy looking. So this is what i tried to find for you guys, i tried my best to find cheapest alternatives with possibility to buy online.

Feather Trend (EARRINGS)

Hello Pretties!

More and more i see feathers in magazines and stores. I have to admit, at first it puzzled me, especially one side earrings. It didn't look like something i would wear personally (but i liked it on others though, e.g. Kandee Johnson, youtube guru), it looked like something new and daring, tribal style. But now feathers coming in more variety of styles from tribal to casual to classy. I actually fell in love with it now. I guess it comes with time and depends if you can find the right fit for you. Since i found it hard at first for myself, i decided to give a little help for whose who wants to try it out but a little confused.

First, what i call the tribal style. One big feather earring. If you feel daring, you can try that. Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha and Kandee Johnson are already doing it!

As you can notice, it goes better with big baggy top and feeling of freedom :)

Next style is more casual. Both earrings are equal. Vanessa Hudgens, Christina Milian and, hm, me, prefer this.

Since both earrings are the same, you don't have to go to the extreme, and prepare yourself for extra attention. You can wear it everyday with any of your outfit, like jeans and simple top. If you actually want some attention on your earrings, you can put a plain top and skip necklace.

Classy now. If you have a perfect dress but still can't find perfect earrings... Why not to try feather earrings? Blake Lively did it already!

 Feather earrings will make your dress look a little more, let's say, casual, it will save you if you are afraid to look overdone. I find that it is the perfect ( and a lightweight too!) alternative for those heavy gems.

February Favorites

Hello Pretties!

I guess it's time for February Favorites! But same as in January, i didn't really have the opportunities to  go out and shop new things to try out. So this Favorites blog will be short, but i promise lots of new stuff in march!
So, let's get started!


Estee Lauder Double Wear Light (#1)

Basically, i was in desperate need for new foundation. I used to use Revlon Colorstay in Buff for a long time, about a year and i truly loved it. But then something strange happened to my skin and Revlon foundation started to dry my skin so badly. Literally, my skin got so dry and Colorstay just made it worst and accentuate all the flakiness.  Well, it's winter, so i guess that was still the main factor for my dry skin, but i needed new foundation that won't look that bad and flaky. And so i went for Estee Lauder DW Light, since i heard a lot of good things about it. And i really like it! It didn't necessary help my skin, but it didn't make it look bad neither which i am really happy about. Unfortunately i can't say much more for now because i still use a little sample (couldn't choose the right color so had to take two different samples) and i also try to avoid wearing foundation as much as i can (which i will explain later). So  it is not really a conclusive review, but for now i love it!



Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara

Again, this is the sample that i got when i bought my favorite cream, so probably it is a little different from the original one, but i love it so much! It gives good amount of volume and some length. And those factors are  important for me, i love to accentuate my lashes. And also what i was really happy about is the staying power, it holds well, didn't  flake with me and didn't transfer to my lids. Last, but not least, it is very easy to take off! Maybe it's not the factor for many girls, but after hustling with L'Oreal's Voluminous Carbon Black, that was such a relief! ha ha! Overall, i am going to buy a full size!

Oh my... This product deserves full review. I think i can't live without it. I love it! Not that i had disastrous skin, but i always needed a full coverage foundation. This product cleared me up! I couldn't believe it, i was fighting since teenage, tried so many things, and just gave up on anything. Then i tried this.... I am just amazed. I was able to go out without any foundation! That never happened before in many years.... So that is why i was avoiding putting on my foundation, i was on regimen. I have to say only one bad thing about this product, it took almost 4 weeks for my skin to accommodate to it. Before that... dry flaking hell... Seriously, this is another reason why i couldn't put any foundation... Winter, cold, BP... this month my skin was so dry, it's hard to imagine. But that's not the big price to pay for clear skin, really.  This is one life changing product.
